Engineering talks with China Agricultural University

Harper Adams University College was pleased to welcome a delegation of senior academics and managers from China Agriculture University on the first day of their visit to the UK , yesterday, led by their Vice President for International Affairs, Professor Wang Tao.
This reciprocal visit followed that of Principal Dr David Llewellyn to China Agricultural University last month, and was primarily focussed on taking forward novel proposals by both institutions to co-operate in developing a dual degree MSc programme in Agricultural Engineering, in which Chinese postgraduate students would study for two years in both Beijing and in the UK.
Wide ranging discussions also considered opportunities for future research collaboration between the two Universities in both engineering and agricultural sciences.
Harper Adams now has established links to develop co-operative undergraduate and postgraduate educational programmes and research agendas with the two leading national agricultural universities in China, as well as with a number of key provincial agricultural universities.
