    Postgraduate prospectus shortlisted for award

    Posted 7 October 2013

A publication produced by Harper Adams University has been shortlisted for a national postgraduate education award.

The postgraduate prospectus, primarily produced by the Harper Adams publications team, is shortlisted in the ‘Best Prospectus’ category of the Prospects Postgraduate Awards.

Showcasing excellence and innovation, the awards celebrate the most exciting developments in postgraduate education. Results will be revealed at an awards presentation on November 19 at the Radisson Edwardian in Manchester.

Director of Marketing and Communications, Lorraine Westwood, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been shortlisted for this award for a number of reasons.

“As a small, specialist university our postgraduate provision is small but technically complex therefore the production of a traditional prospectus presented some unique challenges.

“We feel that we have overcome these in a unique and innovative way and reaching the shortlist against stiff competition is recognition of this.”

The Harper Adams submission is competing against nine other entries, including those from Manchester Metropolitan University and the University of Nottingham.

To reach the finals, the prospectus was judged on a series of criteria, with evidence required of the following – adheres to legal requirements; presentation of information in a clear, concise and attractive manner; and cost-effective planning and production.

Prospects is the UK’s leading postgraduate education publisher encompassing print, online and digital channels.
