Land management students at Harper Adams today met representatives of a wide range of companies with whom they could develop their careers during their placement year or after graduating.
The Land Management Careers Fair 2013 attracted employers from throughout the UK. Representatives chatted to students over the course of three hours at the dedicated event in the Queen Mother Hall.
In addition, The British Institute of Agricultural Consultants (BIAC) gave a presentation to students about careers in Agricultural Consultancy.
Property and business consultants Brown & Co used the occasion to present awards to second year Rural Enterprise and Land Management students Lucy Gilbert, 20, from Hereford; Frances Griffiths, 21, from Sheffield, and Andy Rowland, 26, from Stoke-on-Trent.
The Brown & Co Awards are made in recognition of the best performances in the Law and Estate Management module, and were presented by Harper Adams alumnus Edward Plumb.
