I feel honoured to have been awarded the Henry Sale Bursary; particularly as it is in memory of one of the joint managing partners of Fisher German LLP.
A Harper Adams University student has secured the Henry Sale Bursary from national chartered surveyors and specialist property consultants, Fisher German LLP.
Inviting applications for the bursary, open to students throughout the UK studying a rural-focussed, RICS accredited course, Fisher German stated that is was “looking for individuals, not robots or clones. We are interested in people with personalities and passion for surveying, whose careers we can support”.
And 20-year-old Molly Dickson, a second year Rural Enterprise and Land Management student, clearly fitted the bill, securing the bursary worth £1,000 and a summer work experience placement.
Molly, a farmer’s daughter from St Albans, Hertfordshire, said: “I feel honoured to have been awarded the Henry Sale Bursary; particularly as it is in memory of one of the joint managing partners of Fisher German LLP.
“The bursary will be of great value to me in helping finance my final two years of study at Harper Adams. I am also very much looking forward to the six weeks’ work experience offered with Fisher German. This will really help enhance my CV and broaden my knowledge.
“I hope to obtain a graduate training position with a firm of rural surveyors on completion of my studies at Harper. I am looking forward to a fulfilling and rewarding professional career in the rural sector,” added Molly, Ladies Captain of the Harper Adams University Clay Shooting Club.
