    Development Trust awards £290,000 in scholarships

    Harper Adams University presented £290,000 worth of scholarships to 102 students this week. 

    The university’s Development Trust hosted its ninth annual Scholarship Presentation on Wednesday.

    Development Trust consultant, Renée Gallina-Morris said: “All those students who have been awarded scholarships have been selected following engagement with a rigorous application and interview process.  The total financial assistance the scholars will receive for this academic year will be to the value of £290,000, an increase of 15.5% over the previous year.  

    “The afternoon served as an excellent opportunity for the sponsors and scholars to meet in an informal setting, thus allowing the students the occasion to celebrate their outstanding achievement.”

    Many of the industry scholarships includes placement year jobs in addition to payments of up to £10,000 in the current academic year. Read more about each award here.
