Business courses gain CIM accreditation

All of the undergraduate business courses at Harper Adams University have received accreditation from the Chartered Institute Marketing (CIM), the world’s leading professional marketing body.
Pam Whitehouse, Course Manager said: “This accreditation underlines the fact that our courses are developed to create business undergraduates fit for the employment market.
“All students, who start their undergraduate business course from September 2017 at Harper Adams, will achieve exemption from one of the core modules in the CIM framework through the Graduate Gateway scheme.”
Graduates of the University’s business courses will no longer have to complete the marketing module, usually a mandatory requirement for the CIM Certificate in Professional Marketing. To gain the qualification they will simply have to complete their integrated communication module, along with either the customer experience or the digital marketing modules offered within the business programme.
Students of Harper Adams undergraduate business courses are already able to register with the Chartered Management Institute to gain a Level 5 Award or Certificate in Management and Leadership alongside their degree programme.
