Claire Jenkins, BSc (Hons) Food and Consumer Studies student, has received a Clyde Higgs Scholarship at Harper Adams University.
Claire, 19, from Winchcombe, Gloucestershire said: “This scholarship would allow me to concentrate more on my studies, with extra funding to aid my learning, and invest in to my future.
“During my placement year, I will be studying abroad for six months. This scholarship will be of great benefit towards costs associated with studying abroad in terms of travel and accommodation, as well as living costs and study materials.
“I aspire to set up my own business, potentially in food retailing, to support the local economy by providing jobs, supporting local produce within the store.”
