“I feel very privileged to have received the Jerman Scholarship, and am saddened that I never had the opportunity to meet the Jermans, who to me represent the importance and generosity in sharing wealth with people who will benefit from it most.
Nell Lloyd, BSc (Hons) Rural Enterprise and Land Management student, has received a Jerman Scholarship at Harper Adams University.
Nell, 22, from Shrewsbury, Shropshire said: “The scholarship will make a difference to me as I will be able to spend more time on my dissertation and other assignments, and achieve the grades required to secure the career I want, in which I aim to support the rural economy.
“I feel very privileged to have received the Jerman Scholarship, and am saddened that I never had the opportunity to meet the Jermans, who to me represent the importance and generosity in sharing wealth with people who will benefit from it most.
“I hope to gain a career in rural surveying that helps and supports other rural businesses and people, in turn encouraging the rural economy to thrive.”
