    Posted 29 November 2021

“We know future students will have a lot of questions about their university experience, and our live talks will cover both what you can expect from your course and what it’s like to live, work and socialise at Harper Adams. Whether it’s guidance and advice on how to complete your application, someone to answer that burning question you have about the accommodation you’ll be staying in, or help with finance and wellbeing, we’ll have someone on hand to answer your query.”

A run of highly successful undergraduate Open Days at Harper Adams University is set to be capped with a virtual event this December.

The University has run on-campus events in October and November, complemented by virtual events throughout the rest of the year. The final Open Day of 2021 will be a virtual one, to be held on Monday, December 13 between 10am and 2pm.

Outreach Manager Kim Chadwick-Reaney said: “It’s been a busy year for events at Harper Adams, and we were delighted to be welcome people to both our on-campus and virtual Open Days throughout 2021.

“Hundreds of people joined us this Autumn at our on-campus Open Days, with people coming from across the UK – and beyond – to meet our lecturers, find out more about our courses, and hear more about university life.

“We’ve also held virtual Open Days – where many students who joined us in September of this year were able to get the information which confirmed their choice to study with us.

“So, wherever you are in your student journey, from making that first enquiry to making your final decision, we hope our event can guide your choice – and you don’t even have to leave the sofa to join us!”

The Virtual Open Day will include a mix of on-demand content and live talks, and has been designed to provide prospective students with the information they will need before the January 2022 UCAS deadline.

Kim added: “We know future students will have a lot of questions about their university experience, and our live talks will cover both what you can expect from your course and what it’s like to live, work and socialise at Harper Adams.

“Whether it’s guidance and advice on how to complete your application, someone to answer that burning question you have about the accommodation you’ll be staying in, or help with finance and wellbeing, we’ll have someone on hand to answer your query.”
