HARPER ADAMS PROVIDES FOR SOUTH WEST STUDENTS

STUDENTS FROM the South West will have an unrivalled opportunity to find out about opportunities at the UK's largest institution of Higher Education for the land and food based industries this year.

Harper Adams University College, Shropshire, will be exhibiting at two of the South West region's most prominent agricultural shows later this year - the Royal Bath and West Show and the Royal Cornwall Show.

The Harper Adams trailer will attend both events, giving students from the region an opportunity to find out about the portfolio of courses, which will expand during 2002 and 2003, to include Applied Biology, Rural Leisure Management, IT for Business, Retail Management and subjects allied to Veterinary Medicine.

These new courses will be offered alongside Harper Adams existing courses in Agriculture, Agri-food, Animal Health and Welfare, Business, Engineering and Design, Land, Countryside and Environment and Leisure and Landscape.

Harper Adams has always attracted a number of students from the South West and is conscious of the increasing costs of Higher Education to students and particularly to those who choose to study further away from home.

In a bid to combat those rising costs, Harper Adams has introduced a range of Entrance Awards, including academic and sporting scholarships, worth between £100 and £1,000. For more information, please contact Harper Adams and ask for an Entrance Awards leaflet.
