MDC MEETING TO FOCUS ON FERTILITY
Posted 19 February 2002
A DUTCH veterinary fertility specialist will address the next meeting of the Milk Development Council's (MDC) Midlands Region focus group.
Dr Dirk Zaaijer, from the Cow Health Company, Delden, the Netherlands, will draw on his experiences managing high index cows for two meetings later this week, titled a "Focus on Fertility."
Dr Zaaijer will be joined at the meetings by Dr George Mann, of the University of Nottingham. Dr Mann will present the results of recently commissioned MDC research into fertility management and how this can be applied to your farm.
The meetings take place on Thursday, February 21, 2002. A morning meeting will run from 10am until 1.30pm at Worcester Rugby Club, Worcester, just off Junction 6 of the M5. Then, from 7pm until 10.30pm, an evening meeting will be taking place at the Staffordshire Showground, Stafford.
Attendance is free to all levy payers but please contact Harper Adams on 01 952 820 280 to let them know which meeting you will attend and the number of people in your party.
