Two students from Harper Adams University College, Shropshire, have been invited to attend a special concert, celebrating the Golden Jubilee visit of Her Majesty the Queen to the West Midlands Region. The concert takes place on July 2, 2002.
Andrew Black, a fourth year BSc (Hons) Rural Enterprise And Land Management degree student, and Carol Walker, a third year HND Agriculture student, will have the opportunity to meet the Queen at a 7pm reception, prior to the performance.
Sakari Omaro will conduct this special concert featuring the Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and Youth Chorus, the City of Birmingham Choir, Thomas Trotter and artists from Birmingham Royal Ballet.
