    ENTREPRENEURS INVITED TO WIRE 4

    Posted 2 December 2002

THE FOURTH annual Women in Rural Enterprise (WiRE) Conference takes place at Harper Adams University College, Shropshire, on February 6, 2003. The last year has seen the WiRE initiative go from strength to strength and now boasts a nationwide membership scheme with around 700 members and an ever-expanding programme of events and workshops taking place around the country.

The forthcoming National Conference will build upon that success by drawing together a staggering range of inspirational speakers, all women who have started, maintained and expanded rural businesses of their own – often against the odds, but always with a sense of humour and determination to succeed.

The format of this year’s National Conference has taken a slightly different twist, to maximise the time delegates have available to network and learn from each other’s experiences. In addition to workshops on topics such as E-Commerce, the Seven Stages of Selling and PR in a Nutshell, there will also be a number of informal, expert Question & Answer sessions. The Q&A subjects will include Business Basics, IT, Rural Grants & Aid, Visual Merchandising and many more.

The conference is a must for all rural businesswomen with something for everyone, whether you’re trying to develop an idea or just looking for the next step. For further information or to book a place, please contact WiRE on +44 (0) 1952 815 338, E-mail: info@wireuk.org or visit the web-site: www.wireuk.org
