INDUSTRY SUPPORT FOR ENGINEERING DAY

HARPER ADAMS University College will be working with leading manufacturers from industry this March to hold a one-day event encouraging students, aged 15 – 18, to consider a career in Engineering.The Off Road Engineering open day takes place on Tuesday, March 4, 2003 at Harper Adams campus in Newport, Shropshire. The event will include workshops on careers in engineering, your options at 16 & 18, student life and funding as well as practical sessions on topics such as Computer Aided Design, engine performance and a traction comparison between tyres and tracks.
The event has attracted industry support to illustrate to students the range of exciting engineering careers available. John Deere, Caterpillar, Cummins Engine Company and JCB will be among the manufacturers attending.
