HARPER ADAMS University College will be publishing its Annual Review of 2002 later this month, to report on the successes of the institution, its students and staff, during the last year.Amongst the student achievements recorded, will be that of James Michael Shardlow, 20, from Alfreton, Derbyshire, who won the Royal Agricultural Society of England (RASE) Award for 2002 while studying on the HND Agriculture course.
The award, given annually for the best agricultural student both academically and practically, was presented to Mr Shardlow after he achieved an overall Distinction grade for his course.
Mr Simon Scott, representing RASE, is pictured presenting Mr Shardlow with his certificate during a ceremony held at Harper Adams campus, near Newport, Shropshire, as part of Graduation Day last September.
