CORACLE CONSTRUCTION COURSE

THE SECRETS BEHIND the construction of the traditional Shropshire coracle will be unveiled at Harper Adams University College, near Newport, next week.Mr Terry Kenny, widely renowned as Britain’s leading coracle builder, will be at Harper Adams to run a two-day course on Monday, March 31, and Tuesday, April 1, 2003.
Participants, who have paid £150 each toward the tuition and materials, will build their own Ironbridge-style coracle and paddle over the course of the two days.
