EUROPEAN OFF-ROAD VEHICLES EVENT COMES TO HARPER ADAMS

AN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE focusing on the design, testing and development of Off Road Vehicles will take place at Harper Adams University College, Shropshire, in September.It will be the ninth European conference of The International Society for Terrain Vehicle Systems (ISTVS) and takes place from Monday, September 8, to Thursday, September 11, 2003. More than a hundred delegates from around the world are expected to attend.
Over the course of the conference a number of invited speakers will cover topics including the key areas of off road vehicle design, testing and development, the latest concerns and developments within the industry and examples of engineering success stories in commercial off road vehicles.
The third day will offer delegates a series of practical demonstrations, many of which will link back to speakers’ presentations. Harper Adams will take this opportunity to officially open its new off-road vehicle facilities, christening the test track with white-knuckle trips for ISTVS delegates and invited guests!
The ISTVS Conference is just one of the many events that Harper Adams University College will support through the Centre for Rural Innovation which is officially launched on September 19. The Centre for Rural Innovation is a flagship project, which will bring together several different areas of Harper Adams’ services, providing a single contact point for businesses wishing to make use of that knowledge and expertise.
