HARPER ADAMS UNIVERSITY COLLEGE, the UK’s largest and leading provider of Higher Education focused on the land-based and food-supply chain sectors, has received a positive report from the UK’s Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) following an institutional academic review visit. The review concluded that there was ‘broad confidence’ in Harper Adams University College as an effective institution in assuring the quality of its educational provision and standard of awards.
In particular, the report praises the College for the support that students receive in their learning, the well-managed work placement programme for students, the use of professional advisers to act as an external reference point for the evaluation of workplace skills and for its self-evaluative academic community.
This latest report follows a previous QAA assessment, in 1998, in which the University College scored 23 out of 24 for the quality of its provision and confirms that the highest academic quality continues to be maintained at Harper Adams.
