    ST CLEARS STUDENT NAMED BEST ENGINEER

    A STUDENT AT HARPER ADAMS University College, Shropshire, has been named the best student engineer in a regional prize.

    Meredith Morris, 21, from St Clears, in Carmarthenshire, has been awarded the 2003 Wrekin Branch of the Institution of Agricultural Engineers prize. This annual award is made to the HND Agricultural Engineering student at Harper Adams who shows the best performance over the first three semesters of their course.

    The presentation to Mr Morris was made during a special ceremony last month – held as part of Harper Adams’ Graduation Day.

    Mr Morris is pictured (right) receiving his award from Mr Phil Metcalf, Chairman of the Wrekin Branch of the Institution of Agricultural Engineers.
