SHROPSHIRE STUDENT RECEIVES OPEN SCHOLARSHIP

Bernard Davies, of Bromlow, Minsterley, has been awarded an Open Scholarship of £1,000 to study a degree in Agriculture with Land and Farm Management at Harper Adams University College, Newport, Shropshire. Bernard, 18, attended Bedford School, Cambs, and is currently working on an outdoor pig unit and a smallholding in south Shropshire.
