Harper Adams University College, Shropshire, is once again staging its popular Crops Open Day.The regular annual event – which attracted almost 200 visitors last year – takes place at the Newport-based university college on July 15, from 11am until 3.30pm.
Jointly organised by Harper Adams University College and the National Institute of Agricultural Botany, the day will consist of workshop-based morning sessions followed by cereal, forage and potato field demonstrations. The event will be of particular interest to NIAB levy members and regional farmers interested in grasses and herbage, potatoes, cereals and non-food crops. The open day will also be registered for BASIS CPD points.
The event is free and lunch and refreshments will be available.
