DERBYSHIRE STUDENT RECEIVES OPEN SCHOLARSHIP

Thomas Armstrong, of Over Haddon, Bakewell, has been awarded an Open Scholarship of £400 to study a BSc in Rural Enterprise and Land Management at Harper Adams University College, Newport, Shropshire. Thomas, 19, attended Lady Manners School, Bakewell. He will begin his degree course in September.
