A West Sussex agricultural student has been awarded a prize from The Farmers Club.William Tupper, 22, who is studying BSc Agriculture with Land and Farm Management at Harper Adams University College, was awarded a Pinnacle Award for Excellence in Business Management. One of eight finalists, he took second place and was awarded a cheque for £1,200 jointly with the college.
William, from Bignor, West Sussex submitted his Integrated Farm Management Assignment coursework and gave a PowerPoint presentation to the judges at the Farmers' Club in London last month.
Harper Adams lecturer Dr Graham Scott said William was a deserving recipient and had produced excellent work whilst at the Shropshire university college.
The student is a former pupil of Midhurst Grammar School.
