Derbyshire Student Receives Scholarship

Kate Weightman, of Fritchley, Belper, has been awarded an Open Scholarship of £500 to study a BSc (Hons) Rural Enterprise and Land Management degree at Harper Adams University College, Newport, Shropshire. Kate is a former pupil of Derby High School, Littleover. A keen sportswoman, Kate hopes to join some of the university’s many sports and outdoor pursuits clubs when she begins her university course in September.
