Staffordshire Student Receives Scholarship

Michael Statham, of Bramshall, Uttoxeter, has been awarded an Open Scholarship of £500 to study a BSc Rural Enterprise and Land Management degree at Harper Adams University College, Newport, Shropshire. Michael, 18, is a former pupil of Thomas Alleynes High School, and a member of Uttoxeter Young Farmers Club. A keen clay pigeon shooter, he is a junior member of the Staffordshire County team and hopes to join the university’s successful shooting club when he begins his course in September.
