Twenty-one staff at Harper Adams University College, Edgmond, have celebrated over 600 years service between them. Staff completing 25 years and over received a Long Service Award. They all congregated in front of the main building where a photograph was taken for prosperity. The staff include lecturing, administration, domestic and grounds staff.
Dr. Margaret Parry a Principal Lecturer in Animal Science said "Over the past 37 years that I have been on the staff at Harper Adams, student numbers have increased more than five fold and the subject areas have diversified from just agriculture, poultry, engineering and marketing into specialised animal-related, land and countryside management, leisure and tourism and food courses. Despite this expansion, Harper Adams remains an essentially close knit and very friendly place to work."
