Shropshire Drenched in June! Over 20cm of Rain at Harper Adams

Harper Adams University College, the UK’s leading university institution serving the rural and land-based industries, have recorded 205.1mm of rainfall so far in the month of June. This is a staggering 188.3mm more than that of the whole of June in 2006. That’s 92% more than the previous year – and there are three days to go before the end of June!

This is following an extremely dry April where Harper Adams only received 9mm of rain.

The grounds saw substantial standing water and a pond was filled to capacity
