Are you interested in finding out more about studying a business related qualification? If so look no further than Harper Adams University College, Shropshire, and get a head start by attending an informal open evening on Tuesday 18th September, 7pm to 9pm, in the ASPIRE Centre , the University College’s new learning centre for excellence. Refreshments are served from 7pm.
Students, families, careers advisers and teachers are all invited to come and talk to current students and specialist staff about study options, particularly focusing on business related degree and foundation degree courses available.
Business studies is a very popular subject at Harper Adams as it combines good academic training with excellent career prospects. All business programmes include a year in industry which enables students to put the knowledge gained in the classroom into practice and learn from some of the best in business.
Pam Whitehouse, Senior Tutor in Business, Management and Marketing says “It is a great opportunity to come along and chat to current students and staff who can give first hand information about the wide range of business courses and gain practical advice on issues including course content, the application process, scholarships, finance and employment opportunities. It’s equally important to find the right place, where you feel at home and are able to study and work most effectively so we encourage you to find out more about accommodation and facilities as well as the social aspects of the University College.”
