Harper Adams University College, Newport, Shropshire is to host a seminar on renewable energy technologies on Monday 5th November from 9am to 1.15pm. This seminar will be of interest and benefit any business that wants to become greener, save money and is considering the use of renewable technologies.
The seminar will cover introductions to wind, solar, heat pumps, Combined Heat and Power (CHP), biomass, hydro and associated technologies along with legislation, grants and planning issues. In the following, more focussed sessions, in-depth information on technical details, logistical and indicative costs will be discussed. Sessions include Micro Generation (wind and water technology), Efficient Heating (geothermal and ait source heat pumps), Solar Energy (thermal and photovoltaic), Heat and Power Technology (CHP).
Harper Adams is working in partnership with Advantage Projects Ltd who is an independent company that specialises in design, specification and project management of all types of renewable energy and associated technologies.
The seminar costs £10 per delegate and includes morning coffee and a tour of the award-winning renewable facilities at Harper Adams.
