Biggest Intake of Students…Ever

Harper Adams University College is pleased to announce that at the start of the new term it welcomed the largest ever undergraduate intake. Over 500 first year students came from across the UK and beyond to become first year students at the University College. This is an increase of 6% on the previous year.

Harper Adams has expanded its range of degree and Foundation Degree (or HND) courses in recent years. In addition to the core agriculture courses there is a great choice of: Engineering, Business Marketing and Management, Food related subjects, Land/Estate Management; Leisure/Tourism/ Adventure Recreation; Countryside Management; Animal related courses such as veterinary nursing.

The successful start to term follows just weeks after Harper Adams’ success in the Sunday Times University guide where were named ‘Best University College’, short-listed to the final five for University of the Year as well as being ranked highly in all major classifications, including teaching quality, graduate employment levels, head teachers’ verdicts and student satisfaction.

These impressive achievements demonstrate that Harper Adams is not only the leading institution serving the rural and land-based industries but also takes a leading position nationally across all aspects of higher education.
