    Posted 25 March 2009

One of the biggest dance floors in the area, at Harper Adams University College, Newport will soon be put to good use when the College hosts regular monthly social dances.

Starting on Thursday 30 April, dancers will be able to enjoy several hours of the best Ballroom, Latin and popular sequence tunes in the University College’s Queen Mother Hall.

Dance organiser Nick Gallagher-Hughes, who also works at Harper Adams, said “With the increased interest in dancing, thanks to the hit BBC show ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, we are really looking forward to hosting these social events. We hope that dancers from across the region will enjoy the facilities the College has to offer."

Doors open at 7.30pm with dancing through to 11pm. Entry is £4.50 per person. Further enquiries can be made direct with Nick on 01952 815447 or by e-mailing
