With the final term of the 2008/9 academic year coming to a close, Harper Adams students have been clearing out the hundreds of rooms on campus. Rather than bin unwanted items, they were encouraged to Bag Them Up and Bring Them In, in support of a charity recycling scheme.
While last year's haul included lots of cuddly toys, fancy dress items and CDs, this year's swag was much more practical, including everyday clothes, shoes and handbags in good condition, plus a variety of crockery and glasses.
The domestic services team has overseen the scheme, supported by students - some of whom took the opportunity to try the charity items for size before heading off to their homes, work placements or into the real world of work!
