Harper’s Best in Show!
Posted 9 July 2009
Harper Adams is delighted to have received the Best Trade Stand Award at the Royal Show.
Mystery shoppers toured all the exhibitors on Tuesday, and were impressed by the “busy atmosphere” at the Harper stand.
Dr David Llewellyn, Director of Corporate Affairs, who was there on the day, said: “The judges praised the way in which enquiries made at the Harper stand were dealt with thoroughly and professionally without undue pressure being placed on those who wanted to know more about us.
“Many congratulations are due to Bertie Hancock, the Liaison and Marketing team and the estates and other staff who helped set up the stand for this year’s Show. Thanks are also due to the staff and student ambassadors who were on the stand on Tuesday.”
Teams from Harper Adams visit shows and events throughout the country to meet students past, present and future, give advice on courses and careers in the rural sector, and share the knowledge arising from research completed at our Shropshire campus and beyond.
Approachable staff and students are always on hand to answer questions or even just have a chat about what we do. Why not join us? For details of where you can find us see www.harper-adams.ac.uk/press/events.cfm
