Cogent, the UK's largest bull stud, held their first Dairy Works seminar of 2009 at Harper Adams this week.

The interactive workshops are aimed at young people and this year the hot topic is lameness and how to prevent it.

According to a recent DairyCo survey, the average cost of lameness, per case, is £150. So how can farmers protect their herds and financial status?
