The Centre works to find solutions and promote best practice for crop protection across the world.

The Harper Adams Centre for Integrated Pest Management is a multidisciplinary team addressing UK and global issues in agricultural, forestry and horticultural crop production with active research interests in entomology, chemical ecology, pest monitoring, application technology, nematology, pesticides, plant pathology and weed science.  We have expertise in UK and tropical forestry, arable crops, horticultural crops, field vegetables, soft fruit and protected crops.

What CIPM can offer

At CIPM we aim to work with practitioners, policymakers and the research community to: 

  • Undertake research in all areas of crop protection 
  • Provide advice and training on crop protection issues
  • Provide information/links to crop protection resources
  • Liaise with other centres and organisations to support consortia bids
