Students having a drink and chat in the Welly Inn

The Welly Inn

The Welly Inn provides a great hideaway for students, be it a quick pint after studying, a pub quiz or comedy evening organised by the Students' Union. The Welly has a pool table and a full wall project screen - great for sports and movie nights. The couches and corner booths provide a great alternative to the Main Bar, whilst allowing you to be part of the buzz.

Please note: Due to COVID restrictions, The Welly Inn is currently closed.

Students dancing in the Main Bar

Main Bar

The Main Bar is where many of the large Students' Union events take place, including Big Wednesday party nights (often fancy dress themed), and some of the themed balls which take place throughout the year.

Please note: The Main Bar is currently replacing our on-site pub where we have room to sit 200 people in a COVID secure way. We are going to be hosting our quiz nights, bingo and other events in the bar where you can come with your herds and enjoy a drink and a chat.
