We encourage students to fill out a Learner Support Self Assessment form which is available online and which you'll receive in your welcome pack before you register in September. You can ring us for a chat before you arrive so you have everything you need from day one. You don't have to tell us you have a disability but it will help us to make sure you receive the support and extra resources that will help you make the most of your time at university.

Harper Adams University is an Outreach Centre for the University of Derby Assessment Centre and we are able to provide independent Study Needs Assessments for disabled students who are studying at the university as part of the Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA)
For students who have received approval to Assess from their funding body and who can provide relevant information about their disability, the timescale for offer of an assessment at Harper Adams is currently 10 working days. Please note that we are only able to offer assessments for students who are registered at Harper Adams University).
