The Saputo Dairy UK Innovation Centre, on the south side of the Harper Adams University campus, is home to the company’s R&D and technical teams.
It houses state-of-the-art development kitchens, laboratories and a pilot plant, as well as meeting and office spaces and was developed thanks to a collaboration between the University and Dairy Crest (now Saputo Dairy UK).
Saputo is one of the world’s leading dairy producers – being the largest manufacturer of branded cheese in the United Kingdom.
Harper Adams University and Saputo Dairy continue to work partnership. Harper Adams students spend their placement year with the company, and receive guest lectures and other guidance from the Saputo staff. Saputo, in return, have access to research, staff and students from the University.
