How to Apply

I have an offer from Harper Adams, what happens next?

If you do receive an offer from us you will need to wait until you have heard from all of your chosen universities before you are able to make your firm and insurance choices. UCAS track will tell you the date by which you need to make a decision. You will need to keep an eye on this date to allow yourself plenty of time to make the right decision for you.

It is very important when you consider which offer to choose as “Firm” that you opt for a choice which you feel you can achieve and is at an institution that you really want to attend.

You may find that you get some very attractive offers which may be from an institution that you were not originally considering to be your Firm or Insurance choice. Where this is the case it is important, if you had a different institution in mind for your definite Firm choice, that you are not swayed from that choice by the offer alone. If you need to, don’t be afraid to revisit the institution or give them a call to ask additional questions.

We value highly those applicants who have chosen us as their Firm choice institution and will strive to ensure that you are on the course of your choice or an alternative that would lead onto it once we receive your examination results.

If you have any concerns or questions regarding an offer that you have received from us, please do not hesitate to contact the Admissions Team. This is especially important if there is a part of your offer which you do not understand or if you have been made an offer which you believe is in error as it may be difficult to rectify at results time.

We will contact applicants who have chosen us as their firm choice from late Spring onwards with information regarding accommodation, student finance and joining instructions. As most of our communication is via email it is important that you let us know if your contact details change. If you made your application using a school or college email address, we strongly advise that you change it to a personal one as soon as possible so you still have access once the term ends.
