Harper graduate Andrew Phillips named the winner of the Welsh Livestock Champion of the Year Award.

Harper Adams alumnus Andrew Phillips has been named as this year’s winner of the Welsh Livestock Champion of the Year Award by NFU Cymru.
Whilst studying an Agricultural degree at Harper Adams, Andrew completed a report titled ‘Options to enhance profitability on a lowland farm in west Wales’.
Since graduating, the fourth-generation farmer from Pembrokeshire used this report to transform the mixed family enterprise into a predominantly livestock one.
The award winners were announced at the Royal Welsh Winter Fair, at Llanelwedd, Builth Wells on Monday, 29th of November 2021.
