8 March 2023
Our staff, students and alumni have marked this year's International Women's Day - at events, on social media, in podcasts and more.
On campus, our staff started the day by congregating for a coffee morning to celebrate the achievements of women in all settings and those who support them.
The event was set up by the Campus Community Group and drew a wider range of lecturers, support staff and more to mark the day and share their thoughts.
On social media, people reflected on the work of both our staff and students:
So happy to be working with so many amazing women @HarperAdamsUni this #InternationalWomensDay. Fabulous colleagues include: @NickyNaylor2 @GrazyScientist @emmableach5 @LinaMcLuna @dawn2_arnold @DorisTaylor123 @FarmCrimePhD and @jcasperd ????????????

The future of farming, it’s the younger generation which are going to change it, hopefully more regenerative. Good on her…

I am so lucky to have been brought up on a dairy farm run my mum, the farmer. To me it was just ‘normal’ for a lady to do this for a living. What a role model!! ????

At Case IH, our alumna Louise talked about her work, the importance of International Women's Day and women in the workplace - and how she saw these changes reflected in her Harper Adams degree:
At Kubota UK, placement student Lucy helped celebrate the work of women across the company's team:
Happy #InternationalWomensDay!
