Join us for our next open day on Saturday 7 October 2023!
An immersive campus experience; complete with course talks, ambassador tours and even live animals. Our main subject areas will be hosting course talks – exploring how each of our courses prepare our students for the challenges of tomorrow AND setting the scene for some of our interactive activities.
Once you’ve explored our course tasters, why not look around our social and accommodation venues, take a tour around the wider campus or even chat with students about Harper life! Whatever your passion, there’s something at Harper for you to experience. We are also delighted to invite our alumni to join us for a 'Coffee and Catch-Up' session in the Main Building Boardroom, an opportunity for them to reconnect with past coursemates while accompanying our prospective future students.
Our countryside campus is located just outside of Newport in Shropshire. There are plenty of ways to get to us, but you can find out more information here.
If you are planning on getting here by air, Birmingham Airport is the closest airport to Harper Adams. There is a regular train service from Birmingham International to Telford Central and Shrewsbury.
Recognising the considerable travel from Ireland that is required, where travel subsidies are required to support students visiting Harper Adams University, we can provide a proportion of your total travel back to you after your visit. This will be on a case by case basis, dependent on Widening Participation criteria, and on provision of the receipts of travel (flights and trains) as evidence. Please retain receipts/booking information from time of booking if you would like to request a travel subsidy post-event
