I am currently Course Manager for BSc (Hons) Food Degree Programmes having previously held the posity of Course Tutor (deputy course manager). This is an interesting position because I have to deal with all students' management issues, since they apply to study at the university until they graduate. I am also Senior Lecturer on Food Security and Sustainability as well as Food Marketing.

Prior to becoming a full time academic, I have worked in different agribusiness-related roles, namely as Agricultural Attaché at the Foreing and Commonwealth Office in Brasília; Aidé to the Ambassador Ministry of Foreing Relations of Japan in Brasilia; Commercial Manager of agricultural storage systems at Kepler Weber SA; Food Technologist for barley malting at Brahma/AMBEV brewers, and Sales Promoter for an importer of horticultural seeds, ISLA SA.
