Research Interests and Experience
I am an MIBTP PhD student studying the implications of animal personality on welfare in educational settings. My previous work has concerned the welfare of animals working in Animal Assisted Services in school settings, alongside research assistant work on scoping/systematic reviews, and mixed-methods research.
My research interests are:
- the impact of Human-Animal Interactions on animal welfare
- small mammal personality and welfare
- companion animal personality and welfare
- applications of AI and machine learning in animal welfare assessment and movement tracking
- evidence synthesis in the field of animal welfare
