Harper Adams University College is pleased to provide the accreditation of unique training for the Care Sector.

Working with SBC Training, a local training firm based in Shrewsbury, Harper Adams is now accrediting a new University Certificate in Care Management, the first of its kind.

All managers in the Care Sector must obtain a recognised NVQ in Care Management, as part of the regulation of the sector.

The University College, in the form of REEDNet (Rural Employer Engagement Development Netword), and SBC have gone further as not only will the managers get their NVQ, they will also be taking the first steps towards degree and higher level qualifications.

This qualification equals the first year of the degree course, and the trainees will earn that certificate by a combination of both off and on the job training, and through the formal development of their own practise at work.
