A Canadian Food Professor visited the West Midlands Regional Food Academy (RFA) at Harper Adams yesterday, to deliver a seminar about the perceptions of tastes and flavours in foods.

Dr Lisa Duizer, Assistant Professor in Food Science at the University of Guelph, Canada, has research interests including the sensory evaluation of whole grain products, as well as studying the perception of salt taste in reduced salt foods.

She gave the seminar to invited guests from the University College as part of a visit to the UK for a training conference.
