The students with their finished hedge

Students from varying courses learnt the art of hedgelaying recently as part of the Land-Based Skills Programme at Harper Adams University College.

The six of them spent two days learning the theoretical and practical skills required to successfully lay hedges using the Midland Bullock method.

For practice, they were able to cut and lay an existing hedge at the front of the main building, near to the pond.

Watch the video to see them in action.
