Harper Adams Animal Behaviour and Welfare student, Becky Gerard, has spent her placement year working at the Companion Animal House on campus.
As well as looking after the animals, the 21-year-old has been demonstrating handling techniques to other students and helping them with their assignments.
Despite spending her placement year on campus, Becky has enjoyed her experience and doesn't feel like she has missed out on working away.
She will be returning to her studies in September when she starts her final year.
To hear Becky's story, watch the video.
