100th PhD awarded

Harper Adams University College was pleased to award its 100th PhD to Dr Abigail Graceson at this year’s graduation ceremony, held last week.
Dr Graceson’s thesis was entitled ‘The use of inorganic substrates and composted green waste in growing media for green roofs.’
She joined eight other postgraduate research students receiving their degrees at the event, as well as more than 600 undergraduate students.
Her award was announced by Dr Martin Hare and presented by Honorary Degree recipient and National Farmers Union President, Peter Kendall.
Congratulations to all the students that received awards at Graduation 2012.
