Longcliffe supports Zanita, 24

Zanita Markham, 24, from Coventry, has been congratulated at the 2014 Harper Adams University scholarships presentation. 

Zanita, a final year BSc Countryside and Environmental Management student, has been sponsored during her studies by Derbyshire-based Longcliffe Quarries Ltd. The former Moreton Morrell College student also completed a one-year work placement with the company. 

She said: “I was working as a research student, under the guidance of Nigel Wheedon, working within the quarry and the surrounding estate. 

“It not only gave some invaluable experience, but the sponsorship will enable me to carry on studying towards a masters degree.”
